Shameless Care Review

Shameless Health LLC, doing business as Shameless Care, operates the platform from St. Charles, Illinois. The terms state that Shameless Care is not the medical provider. MD Integrations supplies the disclosed medical group, and its clinicians decide whether telehealth is appropriate and whether a prescription is medically appropriate.

The same terms name GoGoMeds Pharmacy, Curexa Pharmacy, and Belmar Pharmacy as fulfillment partners. They also name Nexus Medical Labs for testing and Supera Fulfillment for laboratory kits. A prescription may be transferred among partner pharmacies without notice, so the dispensing label remains the patient-specific source of truth.

The standard flow begins with product selection and checkout, followed by a secure health intake and clinician review. A current operational explanation says Stripe places a temporary authorization and captures payment only after physician approval. If treatment is declined, the authorization is released. The review may take up to 24 hours, and a clinician can request more information or direct a patient to in-person care.

Shameless Care advertises one-time purchases rather than subscriptions. That removes recurring refill billing from the current catalog, but it does not remove checkout variables. The terms permit price changes, taxes, and disclosed shipping or handling charges and make delivery dates estimates rather than guarantees.

Single-ingredient sildenafil is offered as 25 mg, 50 mg, or 100 mg oral tablets. Each strength uses the same quantity grid: $109 for 30 pills, $189 for 60, or $229 for 90. Those totals equal about $3.63, $3.15, and $2.54 per pill. They are quantity prices, not monthly plan terms, so no monthly average is calculated.

Single-ingredient tadalafil is offered as 5 mg or 10 mg oral tablets on the same 30-, 60-, and 90-count grid. The exact totals are $109, $189, and $229. The active ingredient is normalized to tadalafil, while Cialis remains a brand reference rather than a separate treatment.

The DoxyPEP offer contains 200 mg doxycycline doses: 15 for $99, 30 for $169, or 40 for $199. The site also offers an optional emergency dose sent to a local pharmacy, where a separate pharmacy charge may apply. CDC guidance recommends shared decision-making for specified higher-risk populations and ongoing sexual-health follow-up. A product purchase alone is not a substitute for that assessment.

Valacyclovir is offered as 500 mg doses: 30 for $109, 60 for $169, or 90 for $219. One embedded variation description still says $99 for 30 doses, but the live page, parent product, cart price, and current quantity selector say $109. This review uses $109 and records the stale description as a conflict.

Yeast-infection care costs $63 for the consultation and prescription for two 150 mg fluconazole tablets, but the medication is purchased separately at the selected local pharmacy. UTI and bacterial-vaginosis visits also cost $63 before the local drug charge. Their multiple antibiotic options remain grouped by condition because the clinician selects an appropriate drug and the posted service fee is not a medication price.

The current compounded catalog includes Duo, a sildenafil and tadalafil troche; Trio, a sildenafil, tadalafil, and apomorphine troche; Chemistry, a tadalafil and oxytocin fast-dissolving tablet; Desire, a tadalafil, apomorphine, and oxytocin troche; and a sildenafil, pentoxifylline, and ergoloid mesylate topical cream. These provider names do not become additional therapies.

Two other compounded sprays remain editorial-only. One contains oxytocin 50 IU per 0.1 mL. The other contains bremelanotide acetate 1 mg per 0.1 mL and is administered intranasally. The FDA-approved bremelanotide product is a 1.75 mg subcutaneous injection for a narrower labeled population, so approval does not extend to the compounded nasal product or to the provider's broader marketing.

FDA states that compounded drugs are not FDA approved and are not reviewed before marketing for safety, effectiveness, or quality. A state-licensed pharmacy can legally compound patient-specific prescriptions under applicable rules, but the phrase FDA-licensed pharmacy is not accurate because FDA does not license pharmacies.

The mail-order compounded formulas have different quantities and service assumptions. Chemistry costs $120 for 12 or $170 for 24 doses; Duo costs $130 or $170; Trio and Desire each cost $145 or $185. The topical cream is $109, oxytocin spray is $199, and nasal bremelanotide is $235. These are not blended into a monthly average or reduced to one ingredient.

STI testing is a service rather than a medication. The full 14-panel package is $279, and supplemental packages are $155, $169, or $207.50. Current terms say standalone screening may not include a comprehensive diagnostic report or treatment and that reportable positive results must be shared with public-health authorities as required by law.

Shameless Care does not bill insurance and its terms say the platform and medical group do not submit Medicare or Medicaid claims. Product pages sometimes say independent reimbursement may be possible. Selected compounded-product pages accept HSA and FSA cards, but no universal eligibility statement covers every product, and the plan administrator controls reimbursement.

Shipping depends on the product. Conventional mail-order medications commonly advertise dispatch within 24 to 48 hours after approval. Made-to-order compounds may require about three business days. Oxytocin ships Monday through Wednesday by complimentary UPS Second Day Air, while nasal bremelanotide advertises insulated overnight shipping. Local-condition prescriptions are picked up and paid for at the patient's chosen pharmacy.

The terms provide no universal medication-refund promise. Laboratory purchases are expressly nonrefundable except at Shameless Care's case-by-case discretion, and customer issues are otherwise handled individually. Product-specific satisfaction language should not be treated as a guaranteed refund until the exact order terms say so.

State coverage is unresolved. Several current product pages say medical providers are available in all states, while a current ED landing page says 49 states. The terms use the narrower rule that service is available only where Shameless Care offers it. This review therefore does not publish a nationwide coverage claim.

The privacy policy says Shameless Care is not a HIPAA covered entity, although it may act as a business associate in some circumstances. It distinguishes protected treatment information from account data and describes collection of identity, biometric, health, sexual-life, browsing, device, and geolocation data. Analytics and advertising partners may collect activity over time and across services, while protected information is not used for advertising.
