GobyMeds Review 2026

3.8 (6)
GLP-1 & Weight Loss

Our verdict on GobyMeds

GobyMeds is a strong fit for self-pay patients who want transparent GLP-1 package prices without a recurring membership. A three-month compounded semaglutide starter bundle costs $299 total, or an effective $99 per month. The comparable compounded tirzepatide starter bundle costs $399 total, or $133 per month.

The service includes provider review, medication, injection supplies, and expedited cold-packed shipping. Manual reordering gives patients more control over renewal, but it also means they need to plan ahead. Prices rise for higher-dose bundles, and compounded medication is not FDA approved.

GobyMeds is most attractive to patients comfortable paying for a multi-month supply and managing their own reorder timing. Those who want insurance navigation, intensive coaching, or broader medication choices should compare more comprehensive programs.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • No membership fee, subscription, or automatic refill
  • Medication, clinician review, supplies, and shipping are included
  • Three-month starter bundle totals are published
  • Manual reordering gives patients direct control over future charges

Cons

  • Lowest effective monthly rates require a three-month purchase
  • Higher-dose bundles cost more
  • Orders generally cannot be canceled after reaching the pharmacy
  • Patients must remember to reorder before running out

Key findings on GobyMeds

GobyMeds' lowest advertised rates come from starter bundles rather than flexible monthly billing. Compounded semaglutide costs $299 for three months and tirzepatide costs $399, while single-month orders cost $169 and $299 respectively.

The listed price includes provider review, medication, injection supplies, and expedited cold-packed shipping. There is no membership, automatic subscription, or automatic refill, so patients control future purchases but must remember to order the next supply.

A temporary card authorization is placed during clinical review and the charge is finalized after approval. The clinician may request identification, photos, prior prescription records, or testing, which is more accurate than assuming routine labs are never needed.

Pharmacy preparation and shipping commonly take one to three business days, but that remains an estimate. Once a prescription reaches the pharmacy, cancellation and refund options become limited because personalized medication generally cannot be returned.

  • The semaglutide starter bundle is $299 total for three months, equal to $99 per month.
  • The tirzepatide starter bundle is $399 total for three months, equal to $133 per month.
  • There is no membership or automatic refill, and shipping and supplies are included.

Pricing

22 / 25

GobyMeds charges $299 total for a three-month compounded semaglutide starter bundle, equal to $99 per month, and $399 total for a tirzepatide starter bundle, equal to $133 per month. A single month costs $169 for semaglutide or $299 for tirzepatide. Higher-dose 12-week bundles start at $399 for semaglutide and $499 for tirzepatide. These prices include the consultation, medication, supplies, and shipping, with no membership fee.

Quality

18 / 20

A licensed clinician reviews the health information and decides whether treatment is appropriate before the charge is finalized. Medication is then prepared by the assigned pharmacy and shipped with injection supplies. GobyMeds' reviewed offerings are compounded, which means they are not FDA approved and do not receive FDA premarket review for safety, effectiveness, or quality.

Onboarding

14 / 15

Patients complete an online intake and may need to provide identification, photos, or documentation such as a prior prescription. GobyMeds places a temporary card authorization while the clinician reviews the order and finalizes the charge only after approval. The company does not publish a universal routine-lab requirement, so additional information or testing may still be requested when clinically appropriate.

Medication Options

14 / 15

The main cash-pay paths are compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, with starter, single-month, and higher-dose bundles. The focused catalog makes comparison easier than at a broad wellness marketplace. It also means patients seeking non-GLP-1 treatment, extensive coaching, or insurance navigation may prefer a different model.

Shipping & Fulfillment

8 / 10

GobyMeds includes expedited cold-packed shipping in the listed price. The company says pharmacy preparation and shipping commonly take one to three business days, with some pages describing a 24-to-48-hour preparation target. Orders generally become non-cancelable after the prescription reaches the pharmacy, so address and order details should be checked before approval.

Customer Support

7 / 10

Support covers intake, billing, order status, and fulfillment questions, while the prescribing provider handles clinical decisions. There is no ongoing membership charge for access to the ordering pathway. Because refills are not automatic, patients should contact support early if an order is delayed or documentation is holding up approval.

Usability & Experience

5 / 5

GobyMeds makes the total bundle price and its effective monthly equivalent easy to see. Manual orders avoid surprise renewals, and the temporary authorization means the charge is not finalized before clinical approval. The main usability risk is mistaking the effective monthly bundle price for a true month-to-month rate.

Bars show one lowest recorded monthly price per comparable provider. The reviewed provider is excluded, and each observation keeps its source timestamp.Learn about our methodology

The distribution uses the lowest positive monthly observation for each other active provider in the same therapy and brand-type group. Canonical medication variants now consolidate duplicate catalog names, and one provider is counted once even when it has several doses or plans.

Bar height shows how many other providers fall within each price range. The reviewed provider is excluded from those bars. The black line marks the provider-listed monthly price shown on the medication card when that price is numeric; otherwise it falls back to the provider's lowest comparable therapy-level price. Market low, median, and high are calculated from the peer-provider prices only.

This remains a therapy-level directional comparison and may include multiple medications and formulations. Some stored observations are medication-only prices while others are unitemized program totals. Use the medication-specific Prices page for itemized membership, labs, care, and shipping where those details are documented. The distribution is withheld when fewer than five peers have numeric observations.

Decent service but communication needs improvement

  • GLP-1 & Weight Loss
  • Semaglutide

The medication itself works great and the pricing is competitive. My issue is with the communication. Took 3 days to get a response when I had questions about side effects, which felt too long when you're experiencing nausea and want guidance. Once I did get through, the provider was helpful and adjusted my dosing. Shipping was reliable and the product quality seems good. Would rate higher if they improved response times.

Pros

Good pricing, quality medication

Cons

Slow provider response times
