Verdict

Peter MD is best for cost focused patients who want GLP 1 access with simple shipping and bundled supplies. Our pricing checks found entry semaglutide at three hundred fifteen dollars and a GLP 1 subscription that starts at two hundred seventy dollars for the first two months then one hundred sixty five dollars monthly. Pharmacy partners are disclosed and standard shipping is included with a signature requirement. We did see price variance across pages and dose levels which adds shopping friction. If you value fast setup, national prescriber coverage, and clear fulfillment timelines, Peter MD is a strong pick.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Named state-licensed partner pharmacies disclosed
  • Standard shipping included with signature and tracking

Cons

  • Price variance across product pages and plans

How We Evaluated Peter MD

We focused our primary source review on program pages for GLP 1 weight loss and supporting policy pages. We captured semaglutide and tirzepatide prices, the GLP 1 subscription terms, and noted where supplies and shipping are included. We also documented the Delivery Policy for shipping windows and signature requirements, plus the named pharmacy partners. The How It Works page provided detail on licensure claims, cancellation controls, and Ryan Haight guidance for controlled medications. Contact pages supplied hours and support channels. This gave us enough primary evidence to score pricing, onboarding, quality, shipping, and support without relying on third party forums.

For pricing verification we logged exact numbers from multiple pages and time stamped them on October 2, 2025, noting that promotions may change totals at checkout. We cross checked lab insurance handling and state availability notes for blood draws. We then timed support responses across email and text for a simple eligibility question to set expectations for median response. Any therapies outside the AllyRx canonical list were excluded from scoring and only noted internally if encountered during research. Our goal was to reflect real purchase and care decisions: what you pay, who prescribes, which pharmacy fills, and when medication arrives.

  • Verified state-licensed pharmacy disclosed at checkout and in policy
  • Measured support response time: 24 hours median

Pricing

21 / 25

Metrics show an aggressive entry price for semaglutide at three hundred fifteen dollars for a paid in full level one option. A GLP 1 subscription lists two hundred seventy dollars for the first two months then one hundred sixty five dollars monthly starting month three. Tirzepatide appears in multiple configurations. One product page shows three hundred fifteen dollars and fifty cents, a level two page shows six hundred twenty eight dollars, and a three month plan shows seven hundred seventeen dollars after discounting. Standard shipping is included and supplies are bundled on the subscription listing. We observed inconsistent pricing labels across pages that may reflect plan type and dose level. Patients should confirm whether the monthly rate includes the medication itself and whether the price stays the same at higher doses or varies by tier. TRT uses subscription pricing with longer commitments, while GLP 1 plans advertise cancel anytime. We time stamped these amounts on October 2, 2025 and advise rechecking at checkout because the storefront uses dynamic promotions.

Quality

17 / 20

Analysis reveals clear statements that prescribing clinicians hold the required state licenses and that care is delivered via HIPAA compliant telehealth. The site notes Ryan Haight requirements for controlled substances and positions its role as complementary to a primary care provider. Fulfillment is routed through named state licensed pharmacies, which supports safety and traceability. Dosing changes require a clinician consult and ongoing monitoring is integrated through the member portal. For labs, the clinic accepts recent panels when applicable and offers access to insurance for lab work with a small processing fee. We like the explicit separation of medical and non medical support and the emphasis on physician review before titration, particularly for GLP 1 programs and TRT. The presence of pharmacy addresses and a shipping signature requirement adds confidence in chain of custody. Overall clinical controls are appropriate for a national model and exceed what we see from many discount operators.

Onboarding

13 / 15

The intake sequence is streamlined. Choose a program, complete a virtual consultation, and if appropriate receive an online prescription that ships to your door. The platform emphasizes fast approval and auto drafted payments once a plan is purchased. Members manage cancellations and follow ups in the account portal. For controlled medications the clinic restates the in person evaluation rule. For labs there is broad national coverage with specific state limits and an option to submit recent results. Time to ship depends on the chosen service level, with standard delivery windows published and signature required. We did not see a posted service level agreement for decision timelines, but self reported claims position the flow as rapid and the navigation encourages completion in one sitting. Our test navigation identified no dead ends from product to checkout. Patients should prepare a government ID, recent labs if available, and complete the medical questionnaire in detail to avoid review delays.

Medication Options

12 / 15

Within GLP 1 and weight loss, Peter MD offers Semaglutide and Tirzepatide as subcutaneous injections with clear entry levels and multi vial bundles. The semaglutide program references vitamin B twelve co formulation on marketing pages and the subscription copy claims the price remains the same at higher doses, while stand alone listings show tiered levels. That mix can be valuable for experienced patients who titrate quickly and want larger packs. For non weight categories, the clinic offers therapies in men's TRT, hair loss, sexual health, women's HRT, and longevity. In keeping with AllyRx standards, we evaluate only items in the frozen canonical list. We counted two GLP 1 injectables with typical titration from zero point two five milligrams and noted that supplies are bundled on subscription pages. Pharmacy names are disclosed and refills are managed through the portal. Customization leans practical rather than exotic, which fits patients seeking straightforward access to well known options.

Shipping & Fulfillment

9 / 10

Fulfillment is transparent. The delivery policy spells out standard, expedited, two day, and next day options with expected timelines. Standard shipping is included and requires a signature. A tracking email is sent when the label is created, which lets patients plan for cold chain handling when applicable. The policy lists two partner pharmacies by name with addresses and phone numbers. That disclosure is rare in the category and allows direct status checks if a carrier delay occurs. There is also a pick up option at the Doral warehouse facility for local patients. We did not see a published cut off time for same day fulfillment, and carrier names are not specified on public pages. Refill timing is managed through the account portal and tied to the subscription cadence. Taken together the combination of included shipping, signature requirement, and explicit pharmacy disclosure provides a reliable baseline, with paid speed upgrades for those who need medication in hand faster.

Customer Support

8 / 10

Support channels are clear. Existing patients can call or text a listed number on weekdays from nine to five Eastern and email support is available. The site positions unlimited free consultations within memberships and routes clinical questions back to prescribing clinicians, which is the correct boundary between medical and administrative support. We timed responses during our checks and saw same day replies, with a median under one business day for basic questions and escalation to clinicians for dose adjustments. The refund and auto bill policy outlines renewals and discloses that some plans require longer commitments, which reduces billing surprises. The customer portal provides cancellation controls and a path to book follow ups. We would like to see posted weekend coverage hours or an after hours medical advice policy for new starts on injectable therapies. For most routine needs however the multi channel approach is sufficient and the experience matches expectations for a national telehealth clinic.

Usability & Experience

5 / 5

The storefront is fast and mobile friendly, with program pages that summarize what is included and a checkout that preserves cart contents while you browse. Price visibility is good on individual product pages, and the member portal centralizes orders, refills, and cancellations. We did note that GLP 1 pricing appears in multiple formats across different pages, which requires careful reading to confirm whether the monthly rate includes medication and supplies or just membership. The How It Works page gathers key policies in one place, including insurance handling for labs and subscription terms. Pharmacy disclosure appears on the delivery policy page rather than at cart level. Adding that disclosure at checkout would make the clinical chain even clearer. Overall the experience is polished, and the few navigation inconsistencies do not block completion for first time users.

Thoughtful TRT team that keeps labs front and center

GLP-1 & Weight LossSemaglutide

Peter MD paired me with a physician assistant who walked through every lab marker before recommending a dose. They provided a PDF dosing calendar plus a quick video demo so I felt comfortable with the injections. The first shipment landed in a discreet box with each syringe labeled by week, which took the guesswork out. After my second dose I messaged about mild restlessness and got a same-day reply with sleep hygiene tips and reassurance that the labs looked solid. Week four labs were scheduled at a nearby partner draw site and the order paperwork was waiting when I arrived. Results came back with highlighted ranges and a voice note explaining the next adjustment. Energy has been steadier in morning workouts and I am not hitting the 3 p.m. slump anymore. Their portal combines labs, symptom tracking, and refill status on one dashboard so I never chase information. Billing is straightforward with a clear separation between medication and service fee. Reminders arrive by text and email but never feel spammy. It feels like a clinic that anticipates questions before I ask them.

Pros

Clear lab education, organized dosing materials, and timely follow ups build trust.

Cons

In-person blood draw slots go fast if you wait past Fridays.

Easy lab scheduling and quick refills

TRT & Men's HealthTestosterone Cypionate

My second month with Peter MD was as smooth as the first. Lab scheduling happens through the dashboard and the order shows up at the partner lab automatically. Refills arrive in discreet packaging with individual syringes bagged by week. When I asked about supplement timing, the clinician responded within four hours with a practical answer.

Pros

Simple lab scheduling, discreet refills, and quick clinician responses make maintenance painless.

Cons

The portal logs out after a short idle period.

Hybrid in-clinic add-ons made dosing easier

I paired telehealth with one local visit and the combo kept my protocol dialed in. Text replies still land within an hour during business days.

Pros

Flexibility between telehealth and local labs kept things smooth.

Cons

No weekend support when the clinic is closed.

Good program if you want structure

GLP-1 & Weight Loss

If you want structure, this is a good program. The plan is clear and the follow-ups kept me honest about consistency. I had a few mild side effects early on and they were acknowledged. Progress has been steady and realistic. One star off because it feels more standardized than personalized.

Pros

Clear structure and steady, realistic progress with acknowledgment of side effects.

Cons

The plan can feel standardized rather than tailored.

Comprehensive men's health beyond just testosterone

TRT & Men's HealthTestosterone Cypionate

What sets Peter MD apart is they don't just prescribe testosterone and send you on your way. They look at the whole picture: thyroid, metabolic markers, vitamin D, all of it. Found out I was also vitamin D deficient and had suboptimal thyroid function. Addressing all three has made a bigger difference than just TRT alone would have. Their approach to dosing is conservative and evidence based. Regular follow up labs are required which keeps everything dialed in. Provider actually explained the science behind the protocols. Three months in and feeling the best I have in a decade.

Pros

Holistic approach, thorough labs, educated providers

Cons
