How OrderlyMeds works

OrderlyMeds is a telehealth platform that coordinates care through independent clinicians and pharmacies. Users complete an online intake, a licensed provider reviews the case, and medication is dispensed only when approved. Payment alone does not guarantee a prescription.

The current homepage advertises a prepaid semaglutide starter at a $74 monthly equivalent and $149 per month afterward. Tirzepatide starts at a $149 equivalent and costs $299 afterward. Starter pricing is limited to initial doses, and another public pricing page shows a different three-month structure, so the final offer needs checkout confirmation.

The program price includes the clinician, medication when prescribed, injection supplies, and shipping. OrderlyMeds also lists cash-pay Wegovy and Zepbound options. Refills are requested rather than automatically shipped under the current FAQ description.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • No separate membership fee or required long-term subscription
  • Competitive ongoing compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide prices
  • Clinician review, supplies, shipping, and support are included
  • Labs are not routinely required for every patient

Cons

  • Public pages conflict on starter length and exact pricing
  • The lowest monthly equivalents require prepaid starter orders
  • Delivery is expected in eight to ten business days and cannot be expedited
  • Pharmacy assignment and final formulation are not guaranteed in advance

What to know before choosing OrderlyMeds

OrderlyMeds combines relatively low ongoing prices with a refill-on-request model. That is useful for people who want less commitment than a prepaid annual program. It also avoids a separate monthly care fee, so the ongoing semaglutide and tirzepatide amounts are closer to the total program cost.

Starter pricing needs more scrutiny. The current homepage describes a short prepaid starter with very low monthly equivalents, while the calculator and some FAQ content show different durations and prices. The safe comparison is the ongoing $149 semaglutide or $299 tirzepatide rate, with any starter discount treated as a temporary checkout offer.

Fulfillment is structured but not instant. Provider review, pharmacy processing, and shipping together are expected to take eight to ten business days, and expedited shipping is not offered. Patients should request refills before running low and verify the pharmacy and dosing instructions on every delivery.

  • Ongoing compounded pricing is advertised at $149 per month for semaglutide and $299 for tirzepatide.
  • There is no separate membership fee, and refills are requested rather than automatically shipped.
  • Public pages conflict on starter structure, so temporary discounts should be verified at checkout.

Pricing

20 / 25

OrderlyMeds advertises three-month starter plans at $74 per month for semaglutide and $149 per month for tirzepatide, paid upfront in full. Ongoing prices are $149 and $299 per month. Assuming nine months at the ongoing price, first-year totals are $1,563 for semaglutide and $3,138 for tirzepatide. Pricing includes clinician visits, medication if prescribed, syringes, shipping, onboarding, and support; labs are not routinely required.

Quality

12 / 20

A licensed provider reviews each intake and can use MedChat for follow-up. Fulfillment may involve PerfectRx, ProRx, or another partner pharmacy, and the assignment is not guaranteed. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, so FDA does not review their safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are marketed.

Onboarding

12 / 15

The intake and clinical review are completed online. OrderlyMeds says provider review generally takes 24 to 48 hours, and a patient who is not approved for a prescription receives a refund. Some states may require a video visit rather than asynchronous review.

Medication Options

11 / 15

OrderlyMeds offers compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide plus direct-pay Wegovy and Zepbound. The compounded medications use the clearest ongoing prices, while brand-name cash prices are much higher. Dose and formulation are clinician-directed and can vary with pharmacy fulfillment.

Shipping & Fulfillment

6 / 10

The company estimates eight to ten business days from intake through delivery. That includes provider review, two to three business days of pharmacy processing, and carrier transit. Shipping is included, but expedited delivery is not available, making early refill requests important.

Customer Support

6 / 10

Patients can use phone, text, app support, and MedChat for provider questions. The patient contact page gives a response goal for calls and texts, while clinical messages follow provider availability. Prescription orders can be canceled only before finalization, and denied prescriptions are refunded.

Usability & Experience

4 / 5

The app brings provider messages, refill check-ins, order tracking, and support into one place. The refill-on-request model can reduce unwanted automatic shipments. The biggest usability problem sits before enrollment, where the homepage, calculator, and FAQ can display different offers for the same medication.

Frequently Asked Questions

The three-month starter plan costs $222 upfront for semaglutide or $447 upfront for tirzepatide. Ongoing prices are $149 and $299 per month. A full first year is therefore about $1,563 for semaglutide or $3,138 for tirzepatide, assuming eligibility for the starter plan and no price change.

OrderlyMeds advertises compounded tirzepatide at $299 per month after the starter offer. The lower $149 monthly equivalent is tied to a prepaid introductory program at initial doses.

No, OrderlyMeds does not advertise a separate monthly membership fee. Provider review, medication when prescribed, injection supplies, and standard shipping are included in the program price.

No long-term subscription commitment is required under the current FAQ description. Patients request and pay for refills when needed rather than receiving an automatic shipment every month.

OrderlyMeds estimates eight to ten business days for the full process from intake through delivery. Expedited shipping is not offered, so request refills early.

OrderlyMeds says labs are not routinely required for every patient. A clinician may still recommend testing based on health history, symptoms, or treatment needs.

An OrderlyMeds order can be canceled before the prescription is finalized. Once the prescription reaches fulfillment, cancellation is restricted, while clinical denial results in a refund.

No, compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing.

Bars show one lowest recorded monthly price per comparable provider. The reviewed provider is excluded, and each observation keeps its source timestamp.Learn about our methodology

The distribution uses the lowest positive monthly observation for each other active provider in the same therapy and brand-type group. Canonical medication variants now consolidate duplicate catalog names, and one provider is counted once even when it has several doses or plans.

Bar height shows how many other providers fall within each price range. The reviewed provider is excluded from those bars. The black line marks the provider-listed monthly price shown on the medication card when that price is numeric; otherwise it falls back to the provider's lowest comparable therapy-level price. Market low, median, and high are calculated from the peer-provider prices only.

This remains a therapy-level directional comparison and may include multiple medications and formulations. Some stored observations are medication-only prices while others are unitemized program totals. Use the medication-specific Prices page for itemized membership, labs, care, and shipping where those details are documented. The distribution is withheld when fewer than five peers have numeric observations.

Consistent refills and realistic coaching

  • GLP-1 & Weight Loss

Orderly has been the most consistent for refills so far. The program check-ins are short but actually relevant and they ask about how I'm tolerating the medication. Appetite control kicked in around week two and I've had steady progress since. I like that they talk about sustainability and don't promise crazy speed. When I asked about slowing down, the response was quick and clear. It's been boring in the best way.

Pros

Very consistent refills with check-ins that focus on tolerance and sustainability.

BEWARE

  • GLP-1 & Weight Loss
  • Tirzepatide

I was a loyal customer of Orderly Meds for over a year, and my experience ended in the most disappointing way possible.

Last year, my card was charged for my next 3-month supply of tirzepatide before I completed my required check-in. Right after that, I had a family emergency overseas and contacted customer support to explain that I wouldn’t be home to receive the shipment. I was specifically told not to worry—that when I returned, I could simply contact them, complete my check-in, and my medication would be shipped. Based on that information, I did not request a refund because I fully intended to continue my treatment.

When I finally returned and contacted customer support, the first representative confirmed that my order had been sent to the pharmacy but was never shipped because I never completed the check-in. Since so much time had passed, she escalated the issue to a manager.

The manager completely changed the story. She claimed the medication had shipped but refused to provide any tracking number or proof of delivery. I asked for a credit instead of a refund so I could continue on their newer program, but that was also refused. I even asked where their policy states that customers lose their payment after a certain amount of time, and she couldn’t provide an answer. When I asked how to escalate the issue further, she refused to tell me and ended the call.

I paid for three months of medication that I never received, and Orderly Meds made no effort to find a reasonable solution for a long-time customer. A simple credit would have kept me as a customer, but instead I was left with nothing and no way to resolve the issue.

If you’re considering using Orderly Meds, I would be very cautious. My experience showed me that when something goes wrong, customer service may not stand behind you or work with you to find a fair resolution. I was a loyal Orderly Meds customer for over a year, but my last experience was extremely disappointing. My card was charged for a 3-month supply before my required check-in. I had a family emergency overseas and contacted customer support, who told me not to worry and to complete the check-in when I returned. When I came back months later, the first representative confirmed the medication had never shipped because I hadn’t checked in. A manager then claimed it had shipped but refused to provide a tracking number or any proof. She also refused to offer a credit, explain their policy, or tell me how to escalate the issue before ending the call. I paid for three months of medication I never received, and no effort was made to find a fair solution. Very disappointing customer service, and I cannot recommend Orderly Meds.
