Our verdict on Hers

Hers is best for adults who value a private, fully online care path and may want help across more than one condition. Licensed providers review prescription requests, and approved treatments can be delivered with ongoing messaging through the platform.

The weight-loss service is the most complicated part of the pricing. Membership costs $39 for the first month and then $149 per month, while medication is billed separately. Current medication-only prices vary by product, and the prescription, state, and fulfillment path can change what is available.

Hair and mental-health pages use their own starting prices, while the menopause page describes a personalized hormone plan without publishing a clear current plan rate. Hers is easy to start, but patients should compare each condition as its own subscription rather than assuming one membership covers the entire platform.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Broad women's health catalog in one online account
  • Free or low-friction online assessment for several services
  • Ongoing provider messaging and home delivery for eligible prescriptions
  • Many product pages publish starting prices and key treatment choices

Cons

  • Weight-loss membership and medication are separate recurring costs
  • Subscription pricing and inclusions vary by condition
  • No partial-period refunds and limited refunds after medication ships
  • Menopause-plan pricing is not clearly published on the current care page

What our review found

Hers has expanded into a multi-condition women's health platform, but each service has its own commercial model. Weight loss uses a separate membership and medication plan, while hair and mental-health pages advertise product-level starting prices.

Menopause care is clinically more individualized. The current page shows several possible hormone components and ongoing provider support but does not provide one reliable plan price, so old therapy-card rates should not be carried forward.

The terms matter most for recurring orders. Medication plans auto-renew, cancellation generally must occur at least two days before renewal, and partial-period or post-shipment refunds are limited.

  • Weight-loss membership renews at $149 per month after a $39 first month, with medication billed separately.
  • Hers offers ongoing online care across weight, hair, mental health, and menopause services.
  • Medication subscriptions generally need cancellation at least two days before renewal.

Pricing

21 / 25

Hers does not use one price across all services. Weight-loss membership is $39 for the first month and then $149 per month, with medication separate. Current weight-loss offers include medication-only prices around $149 for several oral products, $199 for some injectable semaglutide products, and $299 for certain Zepbound formats, subject to eligibility and checkout. Mental-health medication plans start at $49 per month. Selected prescription hair treatments start around $29 to $35 per month, while nonprescription minoxidil can start lower on subscription. Menopause pricing should be confirmed after intake because the current page does not publish one complete plan rate.

Quality

18 / 20

Licensed providers review health information and decide whether prescription treatment is appropriate. Hers clearly distinguishes many compounded products from FDA-approved products, and compounded drugs are not FDA approved. The platform offers follow-up messaging and medication adjustments, but telehealth is not appropriate for emergencies or every diagnosis. Patients with sudden, severe, or unusual symptoms may need in-person evaluation.

Onboarding

14 / 15

Most services begin with a condition-specific online assessment. A provider licensed in the patient's state reviews the information and, if appropriate, recommends or prescribes treatment. Weight-loss members then use a separate medication plan. Menopause care follows intake, provider evaluation, a personalized prescription plan, delivery, and ongoing support. Not every treatment is available in every state.

Medication Options

13 / 15

Hers offers a broad treatment range. Weight management includes branded and other GLP-1 paths plus oral options. Hair care includes oral and topical minoxidil, custom compounded blends, and nonprescription products. Mental-health care lists several antidepressant and anti-anxiety medications. Menopause care may include estradiol pills or patches, progesterone, and vaginal estradiol cream. Exact selection depends on clinical eligibility.

Shipping & Fulfillment

7 / 10

Hers advertises free delivery for many prescribed hair, menopause, and mental-health treatments. Weight-loss fulfillment varies by product, and some manufacturer programs operate separately. The terms say medication plans auto-renew and refunds are generally unavailable after shipment, so patients should review the next processing date before canceling.

Customer Support

7 / 10

Subscribers can message care teams for questions, check-ins, and treatment adjustments. Hair care advertises unlimited provider access, and menopause care includes regular check-ins. Mental-health care includes medication management but is not an emergency service. Response access should not be confused with guaranteed immediate clinical resolution.

Usability & Experience

4 / 5

Hers makes it easy to browse by health goal, complete an assessment, and manage care through the app. The main friction is subscription math. Weight-loss membership, medication plans, hair subscriptions, and other condition plans can renew on different terms. Patients should review each cart and renewal separately rather than assuming a universal Hers membership.

Frequently Asked Questions

Hers pricing depends on the service. Weight-loss membership is $39 for the first month and then $149 per month plus medication, mental-health medication plans start at $49 per month, and selected hair treatments start around $29 to $35 per month.

No, Hers charges for weight-loss membership and medication separately. Add the $149 recurring membership to the selected medication price when comparing the full monthly cost.

Hers offers access to several branded and other GLP-1 treatments plus oral options, subject to clinical eligibility and state availability. The exact menu and price can change, so confirm the product shown at checkout.

Yes, Hers offers online menopause and perimenopause care. A provider may prescribe a personalized combination such as estradiol by pill or patch, progesterone, or vaginal estradiol cream when appropriate.

Yes, Hers offers prescription and nonprescription hair treatments. Current options include oral and topical minoxidil and compounded blends, with a provider assessment required for prescription products.

Yes, Hers offers online care for concerns such as anxiety and depression, including provider evaluation, prescription treatment when appropriate, and medication management. It is not an emergency service.

Yes, but cancel before the applicable renewal deadline. Hers terms generally require cancellation at least two days before renewal, do not offer partial-period refunds, and limit refunds after medication has shipped.

Insurance is not required for the services reviewed, and many prices are cash pay. Coverage and HSA or FSA treatment vary by product, so confirm reimbursement with the plan administrator before relying on it.

Bars show one lowest recorded monthly price per comparable provider. The reviewed provider is excluded, and each observation keeps its source timestamp.Learn about our methodology

The distribution uses the lowest positive monthly observation for each other active provider in the same therapy and brand-type group. Canonical medication variants now consolidate duplicate catalog names, and one provider is counted once even when it has several doses or plans.

Bar height shows how many other providers fall within each price range. The reviewed provider is excluded from those bars. The black line marks the provider-listed monthly price shown on the medication card when that price is numeric; otherwise it falls back to the provider's lowest comparable therapy-level price. Market low, median, and high are calculated from the peer-provider prices only.

This remains a therapy-level directional comparison and may include multiple medications and formulations. Some stored observations are medication-only prices while others are unitemized program totals. Use the medication-specific Prices page for itemized membership, labs, care, and shipping where those details are documented. The distribution is withheld when fewer than five peers have numeric observations.

Visit was quick and the plan made sense

  • GLP-1 & Weight Loss
  • Semaglutide

Booked a same-day slot and felt heard during the visit. The plan laid out the first few weeks in clear steps and pricing matched what I saw upfront.

Pros

Quick visit, a sensible plan, and transparent pricing.

Cons

Limited evening slots.

Good weight loss support, mild side effects

  • GLP-1 & Weight Loss

I'm on the GLP-1 weight loss program and it's been mostly positive. Appetite is lower and I don't think about food all day, which is new for me. Side effects were mild, mostly a queasy feeling the day after dosing, and it improved over time. I appreciate that they check in and don't make it sound like a miracle. One star off because the cost adds up and I wish there were more nutrition guidance.

Pros

Appetite and cravings reduced with mild side effects that improved over time.

Cons

Cost adds up and program nutrition guidance felt light.

Clear steps and receipt matched what I saw before

  • GLP-1 & Weight Loss
  • Semaglutide

Steps after the visit were clear and the receipt matched the pre-visit estimate. I received a written summary right away with the exact next steps and links to helpful resources. The billing breakdown matched what I saw before booking, including timing. Notifications were spaced reasonably and made it simple to track progress without constant logins. When I sent a quick question through the portal, support responded the same day with a precise answer. Everything felt organized, predictable, and easy to follow.

Pros

Clear next steps and accurate receipt.

Cons

Limited weekend phone hours.

Finally a weight loss option designed with women in mind

  • GLP-1 & Weight Loss
  • Semaglutide

I was hesitant about telehealth weight loss programs but Hers made me feel comfortable from the start. The intake asked about my menstrual cycle, hormonal history, and how my weight fluctuates throughout the month. Things other providers never considered. My provider understood that women's weight loss journeys are different. Started on a lower dose than most protocols because of my body size and it was the right call with minimal side effects and steady progress. The app is beautiful and makes tracking easy. Love that this feels like a women's health company, not just weight loss with pink branding.

Pros

Women centered approach, intuitive app, thoughtful dosing

Cons

Slightly pricier than some alternatives
